I’ve actually been writing posts for the site, but haven’t been posting them. Not because of anything malicious or even any reason that’s significant. It simply boils down to that I forgot to post them because it seems like they’re always ready at the end of my writing sessions and I’m rushing out to the next thing on my list of things to do for the day. 

But the gist of it all is that I’ve been struggling to keep sane, as the idea of the future is still daunting with all of its uncertainties and my perceived power to shape any part of it or my perspective on not being able to control it in any way. Also, I don’t have a story to present to you all for the month of March. Instead, I’ll be posting a story in April. 

I’ve been finding that I put a lot of weight in stories and my work, needing them to be the most excellent they can be. But, with that mindset, I’ve found that nothing gets posted, because everything can always be more excellent. So, why not just post something? Why not just have it out there? What is there to lose when you’re all the way at the bottom anyway?

With that said, I’m excited to continue the saga of the Gemlands, a fantasy project that attempts to deal with meta fiction and storytelling in an entertaining and meaningful way.
